Hari ni ade lecture yang sangat2 best by Dr Cliona McGovern. Basically it was about how medical ethics coincides with law, in form of true cases. One thing yang best pasal makcik McGovern ni ialah beliau sangat bersemangat bercerita tentang history dalam kuliah. Okay. I dont really enjoy history, but sometimes bits of it really do sound interesting.
So the story was about the terrible things done by the Nazi during the WWII back in 1940s, in their effort of eugenics a.k.a racial cleansing. They, dengan selambenye, kill people yang thought to be bad for the continuation of human race. Their so-called aim was to purify human race, ceh sungguh tong sampah. Mostly the victims were the war prisoners. Supposedly, say the Soviet prisoners, should be sent back to Germany. Tapi atas arahan Hitler yang !@#$%^&*()_+ tu, plan ditukar dan mereka terus ditahan. The prisoners were sorted out by the Kommandos according to peculiar ways iaitu through racial consideration. First golongan yang wajib kena execute was the Jews, atapun people yang thought to be from inferior race. Following them, were those yang intelligence tak berape nak cemerlang. So depa kumpulkan la mangsa-mangsa kekejaman ni, terdiri daripada orang-orang yang mempunyai penyakit keturunan seperti sakit mental (Schizophrenia), sawan, orang yang terencat akal, dan juga orang yang kuat minum arak secara berterusan (chronic alcoholics).
