i got to do my 1st suturing on a living human specimen today!.. hehe
it was carotid endarectomy, n fraser had me sutured the subcuticle neck incision, which was abt 15 cm! (at 1st i thought he was only gonna let me do one or two stitches, but oh boy, he actually let me do the whole length!! thanks fraser, u are a sweetheart! =D)
it was different tho, bcs ms ktrg blaja suturing ni a few months back, we practiced on dummy hands. huhu. but i tell u, kulit manusia is so liat, even cucuk ngn jarum yg sket pny tajam tu pun, payah nak tembus. subhanallah, siapa yg dpt buat kulit yg hebat cmni selain drNya.. bayangkan la klu kn cubit pn kulit bole tkoyak.. aiyoh!
but bottom line is.. oh, i'm so happy. bole senyum sampai facial muscle spasm. ^_____________^
